Throughout the year
Enjoy your Private & Exclusive African Luxury Safari while watching the great migration occur between Tanzania and Kenya. We watch herds of animals across two countries as they move on their remarkable journey, searching for food and water as they battle predators and harsh weather conditions.
Experience one of the greatest shows on Earth, up close and unrivaled. The great migration is the largest terrestrial mammal migration in the world. It is epic.
It is fierce. It is the ultimate quest for food, water, and survival in the animal kingdom. Millions of animals move through Africa from Serengeti National Park, Tanzania to Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya, and back again. Nothing will stop them in their tracks. For you, nothing will beat this Great Migration Safari as you move in luxury between Kenya and Tanzania on the most interesting Kenya Tanzania Luxury Safari ever established.
Watch the migration from a balloon over the Maasai Mara
A hot air balloon ride over the African plains is always an exciting proposition… but never more so than when the migration is in full force, as you watch vast herds of wildebeest, gazelles and zebra thundering below! Wake up before the animals do, and climb aboard a private hot air balloon to go soaring over the savanna and open woodlands of Maasai Mara National Reserve. From your perch in the sky, you’ll have a bird’s-eye view of migrating wildlife as they start their day in the wilderness… then touch down for a champagne breakfast in the bush!
Front-row accommodations for the “Great Migration”
Providing an authentic dose of African wildlife alongside exceptional Kenyan hospitality. Privacy and luxury are their main priority throughout your stay. The Maasai-inspired interiors of your tent will result in an unrivaled luxury tented camp experience.
Enjoy some holistic healing during your stay taking place daily at the massage tent. Jump into the rim-flow swimming pool, built on the edge of the Mara, which naturally boasts one of the world’s most extraordinary views as you breathe deep and take in your surroundings.
Our first moving safari’s mobile camp follows migrating wildlife
Every year, over a million wildebeest and more than 200,000 zebras make a trek across Tanzania from the southern reaches of Serengeti National Park to the Masai Mara National Reserve and back again, instinctively driven to constantly search for food and water. On our first “moving safari,” follow this “Great Migration” with a three-night stay in tented accommodations at Serengeti Under Canvas Camp – moving with the wildlife as they traverse the heart of Serengeti National Park, and heading out on game drives each morning and afternoon.
When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, we will collect and transfer you to your first night at the Arusha Coffee Lodge, Resort & Spa, located at the foot of Mount Meru and known as the gateway to the safari. Get settled in and meet your fellow travelers on the morning you arrive.
Arusha Coffee Lodge
We set out for a two-night safari to Ngorongoro Crater. Once a gigantic volcano, now it is regarded as the largest intact caldera in the world where wildlife thrives. Stop en route for lunch overlooking Lake Manyara. Home to an abundance of giraffes, baboons, and elephants, Lake Manyara has many birds, including great birds of prey. Set up at your small, intimate camp located above the Crater rim, offering stunning views throughout your two-night stay. The surrounding Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to around 30,000 large mammals. In the evening, join us for a welcome reception and dinner at the lodge.

The Manor at Ngorongoro
On Day 3, explore Africa's Garden of Eden, the Ngorongoro Crater. Begin your Luxury Kenya & Tanzania Safari with a game drive over the "lost world' of Ngorongoro Crater. You will see grasslands, forests, and freshwater lake that inspire the continual migration of animals. Today is the perfect opportunity to catch a glimpse of Africa's notorious Big Five, i.e., buffalo, elephants, leopards, black-maned lions, and the rare black rhinoceros, as well as herds of zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles roaming life-giving landscapes. At the end of your migration safari, return to your lodge for free time and enjoy dinner at leisure.

The Manor at Ngorongoro
In Maasai, Serengeti means “the place where the land moves on forever.” You can see all this and more when we fly over Serengeti National Park. Home to where over a million wildebeest and around 200,000 zebras migrate to Masai Mara and back again every year.
Dangers surround this migration. Crocodiles lurk beneath the surface in search of the slowest migrator, and weather conditions are harsh. None the less, these incredible animals are driven by their deep instincts to find food and water - the search continues.
The annual migration takes them through various parks, reserves, and protected areas with different habitats. It is fascinating to be a part of it and experience this natural wonder first hand.
Once we arrive, we check into your semi-permanent mobile camp for the upcoming three nights. Sleeping in the heart of the park allows for the optimum migration safari experience. In the afternoon, join an expert tracker for an eye-opening game drive into the Serengeti wilderness. Once complete, dinner is ready to be served at the camp.
